A. The primary and highest purpose of human beings is to glorify God[1] and to enjoy him completely forever.[2]

1 Corinthians 10:31 [31] Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
2. Psalms 73:24-28 [24] Thou wilt guide me with thy counsel, And afterward receive me to glory
[25] Whom have I in heaven but thee ? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides thee
[26] My flesh and my heart faileth; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever
[27] For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: Thou hast destroyed all them that play the harlot, departing from thee
[28] But it is good for me to draw near unto God: I have made the Lord Jehovah my refuge, That I may tell of all thy works.
John 17:21-24 [21] that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou didst send me
[22] And the glory which thou hast given me I have given unto them; that they may be one, even as we are one; 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that thou didst send me, and lovedst them, even as thou lovedst me
[24] Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
